Work began on Ferguson Street this morning (2nd April). The left hand side of the street (facing Trinity Church) was closed between Crescent Lane and Crescent Street with traffic controlled on the right hand side by lights. At present, the car park is still accessible, but there are parking restrictions on Crescent Street between Ferguson Street and Victoria Street.

You will have read in your recent copy of The Historian that our Editor has intimated her resignation. We are naturally disappointed to hear this, but hope to secure the services of a new Editor very soon. We certainly intend to continue “business as usual” with our popular Journal.
Now, a special request to you! Do you have a story, or interesting family tale, to tell? Do you have a particular specialism that others could benefit from learning about? We are currently looking for contributions – articles, snippets, photographs – for The Historian. We would be really pleased to hear from you. Please send all expressions of interest to us c/o The Editor – by email or a written note to the Research Centre – and we will get back to you.
If you have contributed articles in the past, we would especially welcome your input again. Do get in touch.
We look forward to seeing your name in print!
Ferguson Street, between Princes Street and Crescent Street, will be closed from Monday 19th March for 3 weeks. This means that the car park opposite the Research Centre will not be accessible for some or all of this time.
