Members of TVFHS will be sad to hear of the death of our Honorary President, Michael Fergus Bowes-Lyon, 18th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne. He died at the age of 58 on 27 February 2016 following a long illness.
In 1985, the then Lord Glamis agreed to accept the position of Honorary President, which he continued to hold until his death. An obituary and tributes from his family can be read on The Courier’s website.
Our condolences go to his family.
