The subscription year runs from 1st January to 31st December.

Following the agreement at the 2019 AGM, the annual membership fees are as follows:

The UK tax authorities’ Gift Aid scheme increases the value of a donation from a UK taxpayer to a registered charity,such as TVFHS, by allowing the charity to reclaim basic rate tax on the value of the donation. TVFHS subscriptions are considered as donations in this scheme. It is a legal requirement that a simple written declaration must be made and sent to the Society.
If you would like to take part in this initiative, which provides us with extra income at no expense to yourself, you can download a Gift Aid Declaration Form. Alternatively, you can contact the Research Centre by telephone, letter or e-mail, and we shall be happy to provide you with a form.
Due to HMRC changes in the Declaration, we must request those who completed a Declaration before June 2016 to complete the new one.

Automatic Renewal
If you forget to renew your subscription, why not let your bank remember for you? Members with a bank account in the UK can renew their membership automatically at the end of November each year by means of a banker’s order/standing order. You can download a form to set up the order by clicking here. To give us and the banks time to process your request in time, please mail the completed form to us by the end of October.
If you use online banking, you can probably set up the standing order that way. Use our bank details from the form and use your membership number as reference. Please write or email to let us know that you have done this – you then do not have to give us your bank details.

Members using the automatic renewal procedures are reminded to arrange with their bank to amend their standing order.
Payment for more than one year
Anyone wishing to pay for more than one year's subscription online may do so by going to the TVFHS Online Payments page, selecting 'Membership' for the 'Payment Reason'. Please be sure to enter the Subscription Type and Number of Years before clicking on 'Submit'. On the message acknowledgement page, click "Pay Online (via PayPal)" and follow the instructions.
